(a) An absentee voter voting by mail must execute the certificate on the oath and affidavit envelope. To be properly executed, the certificate must include the voter's signature and the signature of an official witness or signatures of two persons over the age of 18 attesting the ballot as required by AS 15.20.081 (d).
(b) The signature of the voter may be any written or printed form of the voter's name or initials, or any other mark intended as a signature.
(c) A voter whose signature under (b) of this section has been affixed anywhere, or in any position, on the voter's certificate is sufficient in determining that the voter has properly executed the certificate.
