(a) Repealed 4/9/2005.
(b) The following provisions regarding harvest records and annual limits apply to the taking of king salmon and rainbow/steelhead trout in the Alaska Peninsula and Aleutian Islands Area:
(1) a nontransferable harvest record is required and must be in the possession of each person taking king salmon or rainbow/steelhead trout; for a licensed angler, a harvest record appears on the back of the angler's sport fishing license; for an angler not required to have a sport fishing license, a harvest record may be obtained, without charge, from local area offices and fishing license vendors throughout the Alaska Peninsula and Aleutian Islands Area;
(2) immediately upon landing a king salmon or rainbow/steelhead trout, the angler shall enter the date, location (body of water fished), and species of the catch, in ink, on the harvest record;
(3) the annual limit for king salmon, per angler is five fish 20 inches or greater in length; king salmon less than 20 inches in length (jack salmon), caught in fresh water do not count towards the annual limit;
(4) the annual limit for rainbow/steelhead trout, per angler, is two fish 20 inches or greater in length; rainbow/steelhead trout less than 20 inches in length and rainbow/steelhead trout taken in Anchorage Bay Runway Lake do not count towards the annual limit.
(c) A person may not take a shark in the Alaska Peninsula and Aleutian Islands Area unless that person complies with the provisions regarding harvest records and annual limits as described in 5 AAC 75.012. The annual limit is two sharks per angler.
