(a) A firm or person that received an Alaska product preference in a bid or offer shall keep records documenting the use of the Alaska product. These records must be provided to the procurement officer of the department awarding the contract
(1) on the written request of the procurement officer;
(2) on the anniversary date of the contract award if the contract performance has not been completed; and
(3) on final completion of contract performance.
(b) A contractor who, under AS 36.30.322 (a), has supplied Alaska timber, lumber, or manufactured lumber products to a state agency or for a state project that involves Alaska forest products shall provide the records required by AS 36.30.322 (c) to the appropriate procurement officer as required by (a) of this section.
