If it becomes necessary to terminate or suspend a designated and funded organization, the commissioner will, at least 30 days before the effective date of the action, provide written notice to the Alaska regional development organization that it is being terminated or suspended due to one or more of the following:
(1) the Alaska regional development organization no longer meets the criteria for designation set out in 3 AAC 57.030, 3 AAC 57.040, and 3 AAC 57.050;
(2) the Alaska regional development organization has failed to develop and implement a regional economic development strategy, or has failed to carry out its approved work plan as required in 3 AAC 57.090;
(3) the Alaska regional development organization board has requested termination; or
(4) the Alaska regional development organization has failed to comply with other terms and conditions of the grant agreement with the department.
