Section 10. Grant application requirements

3 AAC 54.010. Grant application requirements

(a) An application for a grant under AS 44.33.135 must be submitted on a form provided by the division. The application must include:

(1) the applicant's United States internal revenue employer identification number;

(2) either a statement from the State of Alaska Department of Commerce, Community, and Economic Development declaring tax exempt nonprofit status, or a declaration of nonprofit status from the United States Internal Revenue Service for the applicant; and

(3) a work plan that divides the project into discrete time periods during which the applicant can produce items or perform services.

(b) An application for a visitor information center grant must include a one-page statement-of-operations summary that lists the applicant's revenues and expenditures by category during the preceding calendar year.

(c) If requested by the division, an applicant shall submit a feasibility study.

(d) An applicant submitting more than one application may set priorities for funding.
