Unless the context indicates otherwise, in 3 AAC 52.110 - 3 AAC 52.150
(1) "commission" means the Regulatory Commission of Alaska;
(2) "electric utility" means a public utility or utility as defined in AS 42.05.990 ;
(3) "disputed service area," unless otherwise defined by the commission by order, means that territory or part of that territory where two competing electric utilities have proximate electric distribution facilities and that is being served, or attempting to be served, simultaneously by the two competing electric utilities.
