An officer or employee of the department having authority to pass on the application of a subdivision or any association, firm, or corporation with which that officer or employee is associated will not act as a broker of a subdivision, lot, parcel, unit or interest in them, or offer or dispose of a subdivision, lot, parcel, unit or interest in them that is required to be registered pursuant to the Act.
