A candidate's campaign committee or a controlled group may create a subcommittee. A subcommittee is not considered a separate group and it may not maintain separate bank accounts and records or file separate reports. The name of the candidate or controlled group must be part of the name of the subcommittee. The name of the subcommittee may not be used when identifying political advertising under AS 15.13.090 and 2 AAC 50.306.
