AS 36.10.100. Penalty.
- (a) A contractor who violates a provision of this chapter shall have deducted from amounts due to the contractor under the
contract the prevailing wages that should have been paid to a displaced resident, and these amounts shall be retained
by the contracting agency.
- (b) A contractor or the agent of a contractor who violates a provision of this chapter is guilty of a misdemeanor, and
upon conviction is punishable by a fine of not more than $500, or by imprisonment for not more than 90 days, or by
both.
