AS 18.55.810. Findings and Order.
If, after the hearing, the executive director of the corporation determines that the dwelling is unfit for human
habitation, the executive director shall state the findings of fact in support of the determination in writing and
shall issue and have served upon the owner an order which,
(1) if the dwelling can be repaired, altered, or improved at a reasonable cost in relation to its value, shall require the
owner, within the time specified in the order, to repair, alter, or improve the dwelling to render it fit for human
habitation or to vacate and close the dwelling as a human habitation; or
(2) if the dwelling cannot be repaired, altered, or improved at a reasonable cost in relation to its value, shall require
the owner, within the time specified in the order, to remove or demolish the dwelling.
