AS 12.72.030. Filing of Application For Post-Conviction Relief.
(a) An application for post-conviction relief shall be filed with the clerk at the court location where the underlying
criminal case is filed.
(b) A person who files an application for post-conviction relief under this chapter or the Alaska Rules of Criminal Procedure may not
pursue discovery related to the application unless the applicant first pleads a prima facie case for relief and the court finds that a prima
facie case for relief has been established under this chapter or the Alaska Rules of Criminal Procedure.
