Section 990. Definitions

3 AAC 233.990. Definitions

In this chapter, unless the context requires otherwise,

(1) "applicant" means a person who

(A) submits a preproposal, or final proposal to the foundation for a grant or loan; or

(B) receives a grant or loan;

(2) "BIDCO" has the meaning given in AS 37.17.390 ;

(3) "board" means the board of directors of the foundation;

(4) "executive director" means the executive director whom the board employs under AS 37.17.080 ;

(5) "final proposal" means a proposal submitted to the foundation for final review;

(6) "foundation" has the meaning given in AS 37.17.390 ;

(7) "peer review panel" means the recognized experts appointed to conduct an impartial and competitive peer review of a final proposal;

(8) "preproposal" means a proposal submitted to the foundation for initial review by the executive director or the executive director's designee;

(9) "proposal" means a preproposal or final proposal.
