AS 47.33.560. Administrative Procedures.
- (a) Except as otherwise provided in this chapter, administrative proceedings involving the denial, limitation, suspension,
or revocation of a license or the assessment of an administrative fine under this chapter shall be conducted under AS
44.62 (Administrative Procedure Act).
- (b) An administrative hearing held under this chapter shall be open to the public unless the hearing officer determines
that the hearing should be closed to protect the privacy of a resident of an assisted living home.
- (c) A resident may intervene as a party in an adjudicatory proceeding held under this chapter if the home in which that
person resides is a party to the proceeding.
- (d) At least 30 days before a hearing is held under this chapter, the licensing agency shall give notice of the hearing to
each resident of the assisted living home that is the subject of the hearing.
