AS 47.30.890. Provision For Personal Needs Upon Discharge.
The department shall ensure that
- (1) a patient is not discharged from a treatment facility without suitable clothing; and
- (2) a discharged indigent patient is furnished
- (A) suitable transportation to the patient's permanent residence in this state or to another suitable place at the
discretion of the department; and
- (B) a reasonable amount of money to meet the patient's immediate needs.
