AS 23.20.030. Director.
- (a) Subject to AS 23.20.035
, the department shall appoint a director. The director shall administer this chapter under the authority which the
department delegates. The department may not delegate the power to adopt, amend, or rescind regulations.
- (b) The department shall prescribe the divisions, subdivisions, and units of the organization to be directed by the
director to carry out the purposes of this chapter. The director may require a person handling money or signing checks
to give bond. The director shall have an official seal which shall be judicially noticed.
